Global automakers sold 8.55 million vehicles in November, rising 2.7% above year-ago. In Europe, sales improved 4.3% to 1.75 million units heading into the Christmas holiday season. Big gains were seen in many large markets including France, where sales rose 10.1% to 224,000, and Spain, up 12.9% to 126,000.
