What’s New for ’12

The M35h is Infiniti’s first hybrid, and is powered by a 3.5L V-6 in conjunction with a 50-kilowatt (67-hp) electric motor and lithium-ion battery pack.

The motor acts as a propulsion unit either alone or in tandem with the V-6, and provides regenerative braking during deceleration to help charge the battery pack. It can be driven in electric-only mode at speeds up to 62 MPH (99.8-km/h).

Some standard features include a 1-touch power sliding moonroof, high-intensity-discharge Xenon headlamps, dual chrome-tipped exhaust, power-folding heated outside mirrors and rain-sensing windshield wipers.

The M37 and M56, both all-new last year, carry over with no significant changes.
