Medium- and heavy-duty truck sales continue to soar in Canada with another month of year-over-year growth in August. For the 18th month in a row, Classes 4-8 sales rose 32.1%, delivering 4,339 trucks compared to 2017’s 3,284. August marked the 15th month of consecutive gains by Class 8, recording a 25.2% increase last month. International was the only truck maker to post a decline, dipping 0.5% on 363 units. No.1 Freightliner jumped 37.5% and accounted for 26.8% of the Class 8 market. ...
