Sales of medium- and heavy-duty trucks in Canada increased 18.9% in September to 4,599 units from like-2004's 3,868. Heavy-duty (Class 8) deliveries rose 14.9%. Freightliner Corp.'s 1,294 deliveries, up 22.4% from year-ago, led the segment. Medium-duty (Class 4-7) sales climbed 28.3% to 1,473 from like-2004's 1,148.
